Trump’s Win Suggests We’re Nineveh, Not Sodom. Now It’s Time to Decontaminate the Place

Donald Trump’s physical survival required multiple miracles. So did his blowout electoral victory, frustrating a totalitarian takeover attempt. The coup plotters? The Deep State, our corrupted elites, the bipartisan War Party, Soros-bought evangelical “leaders,” our propaganda media, and all their foreign allies — ranging from globalist billionaires and foreign intelligence agencies to a Marxist-dominated Vatican. Prayers of gratitude should be rising from every square inch of our country.

The 2024 landslide is quite a feat for a rough-edged guy from Queens in an orange “garbage man” vest. Let’s give all credit due to Trump’s authentic political genius, which rivals the charm Bill Clinton and Barack Obama wielded before him — and to the hard work of millions of patriotic Americans. Yes, those who campaigned for him, and watched the polls, which this time “mysteriously” didn’t reflect some 13.3 million phantom votes that materialized in 2020.

Many Brave Americans Still Languish in Prison

But let’s not forget the others who served and suffered, as many still do. Thousands of brave Americans courageously called out election fraud, fought to stop the steal last time, and paid enormous prices. Prisoners still languish in the J6 gulag. They all need to be pardoned, and many deserve to get elected to Congress for their courage — as those who led the Boston Tea Party ended up in the Continental Congress. We must make whole, honor, and listen to those who reported the facts about the 2020 election:

  • Courageous attorneys like Sidney Powell, Rudolph Giuliani and John Eastman — whose careers and finances have been devasted by vicious, incessant lawfare.

  • Honest election workers such as Tina Peters, who faced vicious prosecution for doing their jobs.

  • Truthtellers such as Eric Metaxas, Naomi Wolf, Dinesh D’Souza, David Clements, Mike Lindell, Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, Gen. Mike Flynn, Emerald Robinson, Gregory Stenstrom, Leah Hoopes, and countless others — who faced vindictive lawsuits by billion-dollar corporations, lost jobs and income, boycotts, debanking, and in some cases lawless prosecution by our corrupted institutions.

It’s not just that these good people need to get their good names and livelihoods back. Those who persecuted them must pay a brutal price. Thousands in the FBI and DOJ must lose their jobs, be stripped of their pensions, and in some cases face prison terms. Not because we want revenge but because justice must be done, though the heavens fall. Public officials who violated their oaths of office and abused their power must be publicly shamed and severely punished — or else we’re just winking at the villains, inviting them to try harder next time.

There Are Still Snakes Hiding in the Weeds

We’ve won a massive battle, but we haven’t won the war. General Mike Flynn compared Trump’s victory to the Normandy landing in 1944:

That sounds right to us. But Trump can accomplish nothing if he makes the same mistakes he did in 2016, by trusting his long-time enemies who now slither up and flatter him. Trump can’t protect innocent citizens from government abuses if he allows his own staff to scheme, plot, and leak (as it did eight years ago), rendering him essentially helpless despite his nominal power. For four years Trump floated like a hapless rubber duck atop a tsunami, before watching the presidency itself be stolen, his supporters targeted as criminals and “domestic extremists,” and then a raft of crackpot lawfare aimed at bankrupting and imprisoning him.

Let’s pray that he learned the right lessons from that. Trump must spurn the comeback attempts of those who colluded to destroy him, who served the interests of massive defense companies and entrenched bureaucracies instead of the American people.

Nineveh Got a Second Chance…

One of the worst offenders is neoconservative war hawk Mike Pompeo, whom some schemers want to see installed as Trump’s new Secretary of Defense. Even as Trump expresses genuine anguish over the needless suffering caused by “stupid wars,” forked tongues are whispering in his ear that he somehow “needs” men like Pompeo. Instead, Trump ought to listen to those who actually defended and loyally served him — rather than encouraging the government to send him to prison. As Pompeo actually did over the ludicrous “classified documents” case, which Julie Kelly reminds us:

Mike Cernovich notes that Pompeo played a key role in the Deep State revolt that crippled Trump’s presidency:

We don’t need defense industry sock puppets who cheered on Jack Smith’s lawfare against President Trump anywhere near the levers of power. The people of Ukraine, Russia, the Middle East, and East Asia don’t need America to go on acting like a blind, blundering giant encouraging futile, expensive conflicts that benefit only stockholders in companies like Blackrock. Trump should listen to those who risked and sacrificed on his and our country’s behalf, like Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

America can’t afford to see Trump betrayed, crippled and backstabbed as he was in his last term in office. Nineveh got a second chance, as the Bible tells us. It wasn’t offered a third.
