Is the Deep State Intentionally Risking Nuclear War to Save Its Criminals’ Skins?

If you’re reading the headlines, you know that whoever is still running this country via the frayed sock puppets of “Joe Biden” and “Kamala Harris” is escalating violent conflict with Russia. In fact, the “Biden” administration just approved the use of long-range U.S. missiles to hit Russian cities. This is in service of a war we never declared, where no vital U.S. interests are involved, and a compromise peace settlement lies just around the corner with Donald Trump’s arrival in the White House.

The Mirror in Great Britain reports:

WW3 fears as Sweden tells citizens to prepare for nuclear war and stockpile food and water

Sweden has issued five million pamphlets warning its citizens to stockpile food and water — just hours after Volodymyr Zelensky’s chilling video address to Vladimir Putin warned US missile strikes “will speak for themselves.”

The government in Stockholm has updated its “If crisis or war comes” document from six years ago because of the “worsening security situation” following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It comes just as Washington has given the green light for US-missiles to be used to strike inside Russian territory for the first time.

Trump knows what’s up: that the architects of stupid wars against whom he has been fighting since the 2016 campaign won’t let go of the nuclear football until somebody pries it from their cold, dead fingers. In a video statement broadcast at Infowars, Trump said, “We have never been closer to World War III than we are today.”

Oceania Has Always Been at War with Eurasia

Every generation of Americans now alive considers it only natural for the U.S. to be confronting and arming itself against Russia. You’d think this was some ancient rivalry going back centuries, like the tension between Japan and China, or the Muslim world and Christendom.

What if we told you that this rivalry was in fact a weird accident of history, with pretty shallow roots, whose real reason for being vanished long ago? That the confrontation between the two countries only made sense between 1945 and 1990, and all the tension and threat of mutually assured destruction since then has been the fruit of a profoundly corrupt establishment funded by a money-hungry defense industry and the venal hacks inside both political parties who serve it?

Would you think we were “Russian assets,” as our domestic Deep State labeled decorated U.S. Army veteran Tulsi Gabbard when they ordered U.S. marshals to harass her every time she gets on a plane? Would you label this column “Russian disinformation,” as 51 bipartisan mandarins of our Deep State labeled Hunter Biden’s all-too-real crime diary laptop? Perhaps you’d consider us to be engaged in “Russia collusion,” of the kind the Hillary Clinton campaign invented as a cudgel to beat Donald Trump and which our own FBI weaponized to cripple his presidency, even though its top officials knew it was false.

If you want to risk the survival of civilization, your own life, and the lives of your family on the word of proven liars desperate to cling to power by any means necessary, then we really can’t argue with you. You’re too far gone.

They Lied to You About Everything Else. Of Course You Have to Trust Them Now.

When the same people who lied to you about the 2020 election, the origins of COVID, the safety and efficacy of the COVID “vaccine,” the need for mail-in ballots, the rape accusations against Brett Kavanaugh, the murder indictment of Kyle Rittenhouse, and the mental acuity of Joe Biden tell you that we must strike nuclear-armed Russia with long-range weapons to keep America safe, and you insist on believing them this one time, then maybe you deserve the Darwin Award of a nuke landing on your head. But your innocent neighbors don’t.

There was no good reason to extend NATO to the very borders of Russia, violating the promise the George H.W. Bush White House made to Mikhail Gorbachev in return for him disbanding the Communist Warsaw Pact. There was no sane reason to keep NATO in existence, for that matter, unless we were going to invite a post-Communist Russia to join it — turning an enemy into a friend, as Pat Buchanan advocated. There was no justification for the U.S. to meddle in Ukraine to the point of overturning an election via a “color revolution” coup in 2014, of the same kind we saw right here in the U.S. in 2020.

We deplore Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. But it’s not incomprehensible. It wasn’t a Martian invasion or an inexplicable act of God. It was the kind of cruel thing that great powers always do when they feel that it’s in their interests, that rivals might be threatening them. Remember that John F. Kennedy threatened nuclear war (and almost started one) to evict Soviet missiles from America’s backyard in Cuba. Should we really expect an ex-KGB colonel to be any less vigilant about his country’s interests?

We have been warning against the threat of a futile, stupid, corruption-driven war with Russia since our 2014 book, The Race to Save Our Century, was published. In it, we spoke of Militarism as an “ideology of evil” and pointed out that it’s rooted just as deeply in Washington, D.C., as it is in Moscow. We’ve spoken up each time our militaristic, mercenary elites pushed us to the brink. And now we must speak again.

Often desperate, corrupt elites resort to war to cling to power. Several world powers in 1914 plunged Europe into the unprecedented hell of the First World War as a last-ditch attempt to shore up their failing regimes. Is the unelected Deep State secretly running the U.S. behind the scenes now making the same fatal gambit? We may not live to find out.

It’s urgent that anyone in our military or government with the power to stop this insane escalation take action. The American people rejected war and militarism in the 2024 election. Those who rule us have decided to overrule that. Will we let them?
